If you decide to start off your beekeeping experience by purchasing a nuc, we offer 5 frame nucs starter colonies which were over wintered August 2021 and  includes brood with locally mated queen and honey. All nucs have survived the winter and have been split and matched with a queen. Bees are carefully managed and propagated from existing hives. Most hives carry over from year to year without the need to supplement with purchased stock once you get started with beekeeping. In our business Queens are mated in July during prime mating season. Queens are guaranteed to be good layers and over winter very well, My Nucs will make honey this year for you. Ordering nucs is easy!
